I have been following this conversation although I haven't gotten around
to
installing Sibelius Access. I thought to to come in and ask J P describe
the
location of the grave key that he uses on the keyboard.

It's not that the plugin seems to be offr when on. I suspect that when
you
get the C# notice when the plugin is on, it's because you don't have the
right keystroke assigned to the plugin. When the plugin is off, JAWS will
tell you that you've gone to a note without identifying that note. I
think
that's what's happening. If you assign the correct keystroke to the
plugin
in the Sibelius Preferences as Dan has described, it should work well
assuming you have the right language layout for your keyboard, I bet.

Okay Dan. Please keep in mind though what I told you in a previous mail.
When the plug-in claims to be disabled, it seems to work better. Instead
of
saying C sharp bar 18 all the time, it says "note at" and the location,
but
it doesn't say the note name. I don't know why the plug-in seems to be on
when it's off and off when it's on. Cheers, JPR

    Jean-Philippe,

No, the files should be in my settings and not shared settings. I just
wanted to check that there was no confusion over which files had been
    changed.

One of the changes I'm making to the second beta release should help
  resolve
this problem, but it will take a few more days to finish making all the
changes I need to. I'll keep looking into this, but I'm hoping that the
next release will sort this out.

    Dear Dan,
I thought you told me not to follow the documentation and to copy all
Jaws
files in my settings, not in shared settings. So I did. For the moment,
there is no file or folder called Sibelius in the shared settings at
all.
Could it be the reason of my problem?
    Cheers,
    JPR
