While we're on the subject. I have an Epson 4000. What material can I use to print digital negatives (for subsequent contact printing) with on it? Can I
do it at all?
Thanks,
Bob Younger

Bob, the Epson 4000 can print digital negatives for contact processes. The older Ultrachrome inks will print with the required density for visible light and UV processes. Two films that will hold the ink loading are Pictorico OHP and Dynasty Screen Print film (Photo Warehouse). Use the Photo Black ink rather than the Matte Black ink - it prints smoother. Get a copy of Hinkel and Reeder's book on digital negatives.
