If you cut back a little on the phenidone concentration it should work fine.
I use a modified DS-10/Xtol formula with phenidone but never exceed
50-60mg/L of final developer with 2-3 gm/L ascorbic acid or NA ascorbate.
My fog levels are normal for me in the past: Tri-X 35mm 0.28-0.30, TMY 0.25,
Neopan 1600 0.22, Pan F 0.22. In 120 I am only using TMY and the FB+F is
0.10.
Fresh, relatively high sulfite fixer and the use of a hypo clear will reduce
fog some too.
