My Pure Silver Mozilla format folder hold 39047 messages, in the shape they get when I received them. Using Mozilla tools --> search mail I'm able to search mail messages for which the subject, title or both contain a string I search. Doing this just now, I found messages pertaining to "printing" from 2001. It may take a while to search, and results are displayed at random, so maybe you did not allow the search to terminate ? (on my Athlon 1700+ machine with a 1GB ram, it takes time in the order of the minute and sometimes more.) Oh, BTW, the "=3D" above break the search engine.... as do the "=20" on end of lines... All these messages are NOT searchables, so they are lost forever... Freelists sucks. Hope this helps P.S. if you have more than one email client on your computer, provided they are not IBM or Microsoft products (these guys do not respect international standards, do they ?) make a copy of the big file holding the Pure Silver mailbox and give it to the other email program (I can't be more precise, as I do not know what you've on hand) maybe you'll have more luck with the other search engine ? Long ago I used Eudora and had fun with this program... Nice little piece of software. -- Ce message est constitué d'au moins 50 % d'électrons recyclés.
