> Is there a "still-available" archive of the "old" Pure-Silver mailing > list? I searched the emails I had archived but found no live links to an > archive. Dave, I was interested in finding this out as well. I dug a bit deeper into the archive of this pure-silver@xxxxxxxxxxxx and I uncovered a rather messy proverbial can of worms. After wading through concerns about copyright issues, the last sensible post I could find mentioned an attempt to archive using Eudora format ('cause it was free?). Anyway I then found from Google's cache some evidence that at one stage everything was archived here: http://tinyurl.com/6mwxr so at least I know the extent of what could be available (pre Oct 2000 to Sept 2004). However Google only cached the DIR listing, whereas the internet archive site cached some of these actual posts here: http://tinyurl.com/4p4nv. The most recent 14 months from Aug 2003 to Sept 2004 are missing. I don't know why. The bottom line is there doesn't appear to be a complete publicly available archive of the old list. regards Peter Badcock ============================================================================================================= To unsubscribe from this list, go to www.freelists.org and logon to your account (the same e-mail address and password you set-up when you subscribed,) and unsubscribe from there.
