Hi magick, Yes, I knew about that and did that but I cant tell which things I need in my start up and which I dont or maybe it is services I need to edit. Just seems to take forever for my screen to get up and I do have a lot of icons on my start up and in tray below. Also my earthlink dial up icon (total access) is at the bottom looks like it is connecting even though I am using cable now. I have to manually close it by right clicking on it and click on exit.
