Cristy,
    Instead of using Word, open up Paint (Start > Programs > Accessories > 
Paint) and paste it in there (use either CTRL+V or Edit > Paste).  Then, go 
to File > Save As and use the Save As Type drop down menu (near the bottom) 
to choose JPEG.  Give it a name, direct it to somewhere you'll be able to 
retrieve it easily (MyDocs, Desktop, etc.) and then hit the Save button.
