How do I tell you what kind of install disk I have? It has Windows XP Professional on it and looks like the "real deal". I also have a Windows XP Service Pack 2 CD but I don't seem to have an SP 3 CD. While searching through "help" for SFC it appeared that the CD was not always needed. Sandi P.S. I am running Windows XP Pro with Service Pack 3. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Gman" <gman.pctt@xxxxxxxxx> To: <pctechtalk@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> Sent: Tuesday, August 25, 2009 5:42 PM Subject: -=PCTechTalk=- Re: Strange error report and resident shield findings > Most likely, the install disk is not of the same service pack as the OS > you're using.
