Rather than install it, I entered the connection settings
manually and never turned back

How do I do this?  He mentioned it on the p hone but it was hard to 
understand his accent and I have been sick also coughing my head off.  I 
could not grasp it at the time.  I think this Earthlink is about 50 mb in 
size.
