Robert,

Firstly check all connections in your computer (hard drive etc) are
firmly seated. If you still have that problem, it might be an idea to
run through your CMOS settings and ensure they are all correct. Have
you formatted your drives in NTFS or FAT 32? If FAT 32, try boot up
with a floppy drive (Win98 will do) and see if it works. Have you run
Adaware or Spybot?

You mention a 400GB hard drive. Is this correct? I thought 200GB was
the largest hard drive one could get. See if you can run DisKeeper,
it's a lot more sophisticated than XP's defragger.

Yes, if I use one of the following: Outlook, Word, Excel, Access,
PowerPoint, and Binder.  Yes I realize they are all MS applications,
but
other than being part of Office, what do they share?
