Sandi,
    What makes you think your new CPU is not compatible?  It looked to me 
like it was the 4th one down the list according to the data you supplied to 
me on it (you said 2.67 GHz, although it's listed here as 2.66).  The actual 
speed of the CPU, at least mathematically, is 2.6666666666666666etc. GHz 
(that's based on the 133MHz speed of your mainboard), so the difference is 
only in the rounding.  Well, unless there's some other difference you know 
about that you haven't mentioned before.      lol

    Updating a driver is much safer than flashing new firmware into a 
hardware item.  If the system loses power or otherwise shuts down, it just 
won't complete the install.  Simply re-run it when the system comes back up.
