Thanks for the tip Sir Troth.  I will try that if my local tech cannot find 
the problem.  He thinks it is the new processor and, since he had to search 
for one that worked on my machine, I am inclined to agree with him.  Just 
hope he comes up with a processor that does work.  The first processor he 
brought out would not work.  I am not savvy enough to ask questions about 
that.  I had assumed a new processor would not be that hard to find and 
install and sure never thought it would cause anything but a faster pc.
