I paid for my dsl modem. (got two in fact) Otherwise you may have to pay per
month for its use. I would check on that if I were you Louis. If you get a
phone from the phone comp.,...you pay by the month forever. If you get a
descrambler or channel converter from cable co. you pay forever.
