Tina,
Welcome to the list, and your post was delightful!
You will probably hear on this list of some different people who repair
optacons, so there is hope for your machine. I am sure somebody will mention
some contact information so that you can get in touch with a repair person.
Then you'll have your machine back, and you'll have access to print again.
Like anything else though, it costs to get it fixed, but it's worth it.
