Well, have you gone through trying to have somebody at apple Care work through it with you/ The last post about Apple Care I remember reading said you accidentally hung up on them.
Something less serious than the possibilities I cited could certainly be wrong and I certainly hope so; since you have somebody sighted there who can read the screen I would call Apple Care and work with them if you haven't already done that.
