1. I'm one of those totally crazed people who'd prefer to see free immigration
( but I accept there are few of us left, also that it's a free market idea that
fits badly with some of my other ideas)

2. IMPORTANT. I believe that other people here contesting your posts are --
like me, really -- not so much supporting illegal immigration (particularly
because of the appalling exploitation of illegal immigrants by unscrupulous
companies) as supporting the right of illegal immigrants and in particular
their children not to starve to death, not to go unhoused, not to be deprived
of medical treatment, while they remain, albeit illegally, in the US.

>Do you think the social costs to those in the USA are 'okay'?

I think you have little idea what the social costs to those in the USA who are
not
illegal immigrants actually are. I think it might help if you checked before
posting "facts"
about -- e.g. -- Kansas. I am hardwired to Google more or less every statement
mad about immigration still, it would save time if you would do it sometimes.

*Apology. It was indeed Andreas who posted about the Hispanic workers and gave
the $12 figure you thought so massive.)
