Let us now peddle just-so stories, Eric. I've heard
some, too: for example, that the US wanted to drop
nukes on Egypt during the Six-Day when it thought the
Liberty was sunk by the Egyptians and drew back in the
last moment because Israel admitted to having done it
"by mistake." I cannot provide evidence for this, any
more than you can for yours. However, we do know that
the US is the only country ever to have actually used
nuclear weapons, and we also know that it is the only
country that recently admitted that it is
contemplating using them. See:
