ck: So I had assumed, until I moved to Fresno--arguably an urban
environment. Here, the average marrying age is the low 20s. I find myself
the only unmarried person, of either gender, in my department. It's a
married world in these parts, which comes as a shock after having lived in
the Bay Area.
