BonesYes he specifically asked for an SRA app and whether I was qualified to carry out the procedure, from your earlier email, I did not realize how involved it was.
I will print it out. Frank PsTonight whilst on Leeds app, discovered that my Tower controller was also flying on Vatsim, would explain why DFT501 left the circuit for EGGP rather peeved. Not sure whether I should report it and to whom. I did have a text from IVAO-AEI querying why 501 was now on my frq instead of TWR as his FP was for circuits EGNM, shows you do not know who is watching. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Fossil" <fossil@xxxxxxx>

I don't understand what you are saying. If the pilot requested an SRA then he is asking for a radar talkdown. That means he has no navaids available to fly the approach himself and it is up to you to get him on the ground. Are you sure it was an SRA he requested? bones bones@xxxxxxx -----Original Message----- From: jhb-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:jhb-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx] On Behalf Of F FISHER Sent: 15 October 2009 14:48 To: jhb@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: [jhb] Re: SRA BonesI gathered he wanted to practise doing the approach whilst I gave him radarcover and help. Seemed to be a bit peeved that I did not answer in the affirmative, never having to do this procedure before. Appart from missed approaches. In fact, this was just after my tower controller disappeared without warning, (a 2 hour newbie, he appeared also without contacting me, very rude). I doubt I will see the pilot again, and if it was me, I would have done an inital practise offline before bugging a controller. Frank
