The aircraft will normally go around if he doesn't get visual contact when
the radar approach terminates. This can be 2nm, 1nm or 0.5nm depending on
the talkdown equipment. At EGNS we could only talk down to 2nm.

Had a txt whist online Leeds tonite, can you do SRA APP.

Not quite sure what he meant at first, so dug out the chart, in fact he had 
been trying last night but suffered machine crashes, and did not want to get

to Leeds and find I could not handle it, in fact he sounded a bit shirty.

Loking at the chart, if I got it correct, the pilot makes an 2 nm abort, 
climbs out, and circles for another attempt.

Is this correct?
