Pilot HoursConsidering the amount of traffic on IVAO, with regard to UK, there
should not be any server problems, not sure if the competion has the same.

But it does make life difficult, could it be why IVAO is not building up.

I think Chris also had problems as he was only on EGBE_APP for a few minutes
before disappearing. He also got kicked off the other night when on EGCC_CTR
(sorry - EGTM_CTR).

I echo that, Wednesday seems to be a lot busier than Tuesdays, but not
always, I totalled 10 contacts spread over the evening, that includes 2 who
bombed out for possible server problems.

No problem Fred - it was quite a good night and we had a nice level of
traffic to cope with. Wednesday nights are still proving busier than the
official UK ATC night on Tuesday so I am happy to stick to it for my regular
sessions.

Possibly as a result of the KUMI event we attracted a couple of European
pilots last night as well as the usual JHB and UKV crews. It's nice to have a
little more variety. We also saw two pilots flying real world schedules too -
one Jersey and one VLM.

Pireps up to #800 are now included in the JHB Hours page at
http://www.homepages.mcb.net/bones/jhb/jhbhours.htm

Although you can view your JHB hours on the IVAO site I still maintain
the JHB hours page - for two reasons. First is that IVAO recommend VA's retain
their own records in case the IVAO system goes down and hours are lost. The
second is a bit more worrying - the IVAO totals don't always add up correctly.

For example, in the last 50 reports I converted (751-800) I found that
after running the hours into each pilots records that there was a mismatch for
two pilots. IVAO had added an additional 1:57 to Gerry's total and 2:04 to the
hours flown by Denis. I can't find an obvious reason why it has done this but I
know my own figures are correct - and have therefore altered the IVAO totals to
suit.
