Again I may catch hell... but I don't think a lot of you have given any
thought to the ungodly complicated affair writing a program like Jaws is. I
am a COBOL and FORTRAN programmer, as well as doing some work in Assembler
and C. I haven't seen the code for Jaws of course but I have a good idea of
the complexities involved. Yes it's expensive and yes it should be as bug
free as possible by the time we get it. But keep in mind that every computer
system is different and that what works well on the ones at SF may not work
so well on yours.
