Bruce, are you saying that you expect blind incomes to rise on average in
the near future so that we can all more easily shell out a grand in order to
hear our computers, and the state rehab departments will no longer be a
captive market for FS? It's a nice thought, if that's what you mean, but
just what kind of time frame are we talking about?And what is it you expect
to drive the rise in blind incomes? This is a sincere question, not a
sarcastic rrhetorical question.,

Unfortunately, some people can't afford to switch screen readers. FS knows
this and is counting on it. At some point the balance will tip and they
won't be able to count on loyalty brought on by financial necessity. I am
lucky enough to have both products, and I prefer JAWS because I'm used to
the interface. But FS is making it very easy for me to switch loyalties,
and one of these days (though it hasn't happened yet), I just might. I'm
only one person, and I don't for a second think my decision would affect
FS in the least, so it's not a threat, just a reality.
