I'll see if I can get a fix on a exact number, and some more detailed info as this is part of my data base project anyway. I am still not sure why you think one has anything to do with the other. It is almost a certainty that Geosationary satellites do exist. Many countries have them. That statement seems to me to assume either you are right or everything including the Bible and everyone is wrong. That would assume a near perfect understanding, which is what we don't have. However to suggest there are no other possibilities unless you can find them reasonable seems to be the same approach the world has taken with God. And if you find out that they do exist, what then, you are left with either one of two options. Proclaim that plain scripture is unreasonable or you will have to conclude that your reasoning was unreasonable to begin with and what you now consider as unreasonable, as possible if not probable. Any good ground base telescope, in the right location, should be able to verify that they do in fact exist all over the world operated by several countries. However, t hey still have to be adjusted from time to time. I think your statements here are far too reaching based on too little.
