Same here Jim.
I've configured it with a fixed IP and, using netstat, I can see that it
is attached by that name as specified in /etc/hosts.

I cannot speak for Frits, but we are not using DHCP on our DCS. I can
run a netstat command and see that Name used configured in the hosts
table matches the IP address when the WYSE terminal connects to the 51G
workstation.
As Fritz mentioned below, for some reason when you try to dedicate a DM
to a WYSE 5150 it gets ignored.

As far as I know, X terminals are identified by their IP address.
If your terminal gets its address from a DHCP server, you will not be
able to use a dedicated display manager. Maybe your pc has a fixed IP
address and your WYSE terminal has not.
