This hoax was widely circulated on various pet related newsgroups and mailing
lists, always posted anonymously, regarding the fatal danger that the Swiffer
WetJet can pose to pets. This story is unverifiable, and full of non-factual
information, as detailed at
http://www.snopes.com/critters/crusader/swiffer.asp. There is also a similar
warning e-mail circulating about Febreze, with a possible explanation that
these messages are propagated by someone with a grudge against Procter and
Gamble.
