The point here is that an iPod may have maybe 2 bugs, a pc maybe 4 bugs, a hims note taker may have 1 bug and the BrailleNote has like 1000 bugs. I understand that nothing is perfect and we can't expect it to be. However, things should not be horrible either. I can understand a few bugs, but the BrailleNote just has way too many.

Y'all blame HumanWare, when every device has it's bugs. An iPhonefreezes sometimes, an iPod touch disconnects from Wi-Fi a lot, a PC gets viruses or even breaks, an android notetaker goes really slow, a braille sense has a slow browser... I can go on and on... Every device is going to have bugs, companies are TRYING they're hardest to fix them, but y'all just have to be patient. Not everything can be fixed
with the click of a button. On 2/27/14, Paul <turtlefam28@xxxxxxxxx> wrote: That's just you. My braillenote never has to do any of this. Just get another one. You'll see that the braillenote is actually a great! Product. It's just yours. And yes my bn does do this sometimes, but rarely! It's just your problem. ----- Original Message ----- From: Carlos Lopez <carlos.lopez.1209@xxxxxxxxx To: BrailleNote Users Mailing List <braillenote@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Date sent: Wed, 26 Feb 2014 15:31:45 -0800 Subject: [BNU] The BrailleNote and Bugs Hi all, I hope this isn't off topic. I'm just expressing my thoughts about the BrailleNote. I'm getting very annoyed by the bn's instability. I've been experiencing many bugs with the BrailleNote lately. My bn has frozen or just locked up out of nowhere, refused to turn on, choked on digital talking books and caused me to lose all my data, didn't load some pages in Keyweb, given me a million exception command and data misalignment messages, etc and I've had to reset millions of times. Also, some touch cursor keys have been getting damaged. I've already sent it twice to Humanware for repair: the first time was because the braille display got damaged and the second time was because of a damagedtouch cursor key. Both times were months from each other. To be
more specific, I sent my bn for repair the first time last April and then in August. Early last month, I started having problems with other touch cursor keys, but then they stopped because Isprayed the display with compressed air. However, now I'm having
problems again with a touch cursor key. It isn't working. The BrailleNote has indeed been a helpful device since I use it for almost everything including for school and to surf the Internet. However, the constant bugs are really irritating. If this continues, I may just lose my faith in the BrailleNote. -- Carlos Sent from my BrailleNote Apex BT 32 running KeySoft 9.4 build 1226 from the HumanWare BrailleNote family ------------------------------- BNU: BrailleNote Users - a forum for users of BrailleNote family of products from Humanware.
