Jim's talk is worthy of full transcription. You as a member of bookshare and a deaf blind user particularly will get support from me on this one. That talk is one of those things which needs to be in complete form to fully express Jim's creative spark.

Hi Bob,

It is unreasonable for deaf-blind people to expect to participate in an
audio chatroom, and Liz said this is an unreasonable accommodation in one of
her posts. Speaking for myself, as a deaf-blind person and member and
volunteer for bookshare, I would love to see summaries of the presentations
that directly affect volunteers and members of bookshare. Not a full-blown
transcript, but a good summary of what someone like Jim Fruchterman says
would please me immensely. If it is on the friends of bookshare site, all
you people would need to do is post an announcement on this list, and I, for
oone, would go download the summary.

Thank you for your concern. <smiling>

Hi Rose,
I wonder how many deaf-blind persons use the chat room client and are on
Bookshare. One person justifies our efforts here though.
