talking, and getting exact quotes. I transcribed a session last summer
that
took about an hour and a half of recording time and it took me nearly 6
hours to transcribe it, read through it, make any corrections I needed and
have it ready for presentation. This take into account that I did not
have
my own computer to work on and no shorthand program and especially not one
set up for this type of work. I do medical transcription for a living and
must admit it would have been easier for me if everyone had talked in
medical terms--grin!
