Hello Larry, While I would like to preserve the current version of the firmware because of the braille keyboard data entry feature, I do appreciate your problem and am much gratified by your desire to solve it as quickly as possible. If you will e-mail me the instructions and the software so that I can implement the previous version, I will do so immediately and inform you of the results. I will do this, provided that you are confident that I will not lose access to my BookPort altogether. Since I use the device daily as an important tool in my work here at the university where I teach, I would now be handicapped significantly without it. Sincerely, G. Neufeld p.s. As I remember, my previous version of the firmware was available in early spring, at which time I downloaded and implemented it. I do not remember the version number. ----- Original Message ----- From: "LARRY SKUTCHAN" <lskutchan@xxxxxxx> To: <bookport@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> Sent: Monday, October 04, 2004 10:21 AM Subject: [bookport] Re: device no longer recongnizedafterfirmware upgrade > Hi Jerry. > > We'd love to confirm or reject this possibility.
