You wouldn't have page numbers, anyway, if you converted a DAISY file into 
something else, because the page numbers are in the DAISY tags, and those 
are lost upon conversion. Take care.

But then you will not have page numbers.  More important, you only have in
daisy what the page numbers ought to be, not necessarily what they are.  Its
about the same as telling a print reader there is no need for numbers--just
count the pages.
