Are you two complaining about the star party policy, or just complaining
in general about "kids these days?"
Put yourselves in the shoes of the people who actually run the star party.
Would you continue to allow laser pointers at a very large star party in
light of recent events?
Well before anybody was talking about blinding pilots, the Oregon Star
Party committee banned laser pointers solely on the argument that they
harm the aesthetic beauty of the night sky for neighboring observers. I
heard very little complaint about the policy when I brought it up with
star party attendees.
