My Rev B i1 Pro works just swimmingly with Argyll 1.0.2 on a 24" aluminum iMac running OS X 10.5.4. I haven't ever installed the Gretag Macbeth software on this computer, so I can't comment on that end of things.
For what it is, the GMB software is just fine. But if the GMB software is a nice little soccer-mom-friendly 2-door econobox, then Argyll is a Formula One champion. Not having any need or desire for the soft edges and creature comforts of the GMB software, I haven't bothered with it in quite some time.
