I don't know if this changes whether it's worth making this change or

Hooray! Someone understands what I am talking about!!!!!

So tell me, how do you send messages to the "draft" box?

And how do you open the draft box to access its messages for editing?
I have to admit I don't use email in arachne. That's how I use email in OTHER email clients :) If you are right and you can't do this in Arachne, it seems to me that would be worth changing.

Interestingly enough, when I was sending my first reply to this I lost my interenet connection and the email wasn't saved. Or at least not anyplace I can find. I'm using thunderbird and it doesn't appear the email doesn't first get save to an 'unsent' and removed when it is finally sent :) Outlook does that. I'll have to investigate more to make sure that's what happened.
