Hi Douglas, If you use the Express button, it will only install updates for what you have, George. -----Original Message----- From: access-uk@xxxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:access-uk@xxxxxxxxxxxxx] On Behalf Of Douglas Harrison Sent: Tuesday, September 04, 2007 6:34 PM To: access-uk@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: [access-uk] Windows Update It appears that some changes have been made in the Windows Update recently and it now includes Office updates in the list offered. This seems a good idea as it saves going to the Office Update site which, in my experience, is not very screen reader friendly. However there seems to be a snag. On this machine I only have a basic version of Office which includes Word, Excel, and Outlook - all I need at present. However the Express button produces a large list including updates for Powerpoint, front Page etc. etc. As a result I am obliged to use the Custom button and select only the updates I need. Has anyone else noticed this, or is it yet another oddity of my machine?
