Hi Mary
interesting you should say this. I cannot report any problems with Outlook
2000 or internet explorer with this update, I did find that I had a message
from windows when I ran the listen again program from the webbie suite.
Windows told me that some parts of this program were blocked and I had to
unblock it. However, I am being bombarded with messages from, supposedly,
Halifax telling me they have updated their security centre and I had to
click on a link, well you know the sort of thing. I'm not a customer of
them, but I'm sure this is another matter of somebody out there fishing. I
only hope that the update hasn't allowed something through I'm not aware of,
I usually do my antispyware checks at the weekend in case I have an
infection, but other than that, Windows Update seems to me to be working
just fine. I'll report back if I do find anything else.

We had a problem yesterday after a Ms download. Mike phoned Sky and they
said they had received many calls about the same thing and had also received
an email from Microsoft saying their latest update may interfere with
firewalls. It reset ours from medium to high and completely blocked
everything.

Mary

Has anyone had trouble with Internet Explorer since the latest monthly
update.
My problem is that I am unable to save a CSV download file that is created
by my Bank Web site, the only way that I am able to save a CSV file was to
remove CSV file type from File & Folders file type association .
Regards
Derek
