The distance between the Trempealeau sightings in '99 and this bird is
57.9 miles on a bearing of 352 degrees from Lake Marinuka near
Galesville to the location of the Duck west of Chippewa Falls - less
than 60 miles almost due north.
From the records there were 2 adult BBWD in Trempealeau county in
early April '99 and a family (2 adults/8 HY) from late September
through Oct. 25.
