Ruthie, For formal ediucation you have 2 options for industry recognized certification. 1. PMP (Project Management Professional) offered by the PMI institute. This certifaction is the most common of the 2. www.pmi.org 2. 6 Sigma (Belts vary, Black belt is the most desired) offered by various institutions. This certifiaction is less common but is gaining acceptance within the industry.
