Repair Metaframe instead of reinstalling it. I have had no problems
with SP1 and PS4 as long as you load the hotfixes for both. This is
the same scenario that WinXP SP2 was in. If your applications do not
support the new security model of course they will break. I've
actually been imporessed that vendors seem to have responded fairly
quickly in getting their apps to work with SP1.

How about upgrading to SP1 with Citrix installed?
I've just put SP1 on one of my servers with a view to upgrading
the entire farm, but am having problems with shadow keys

Is there anything else I should be aware of?
I don't really fancy rebuilding citrix if I can get away with it!

It's hasn't caused a single problem for me. My 4 PS 4.0 servers
were loaded fresh onto 2003 SP1 boxes. I've run about a dozen pre
PS4 R01 updates to fix some printing issues, and others just for
"good measure". Haven't gotten a chance to install R01 + post R01
fixes yet.
