jeff,

what hot fixes are you talking about, just all in general or something specific?

Repair Metaframe instead of reinstalling it. I have had no problems with SP1 and PS4 as long as you load the hotfixes for both. This is the same scenario that WinXP SP2 was in. If your applications do not support the new security model of course they will break. I've actually been imporessed that vendors seem to have responded fairly quickly in getting their apps to work with SP1.

    Repair which part?

I have found it breaks various items on various servers.

My most troubling, the fact that system beeps within applications,
even with audio disabled within Citrix, BEEPS very loud on the
    client machine.

Did anyone simply try doing a repair of Citrix after SP1 was
    installed? Just curious.

What are you supposed to do if Citrix PS 4 is already installed
and you must install 2003 SP 1??

Upgrade to SP1, post Citrix install, you are asking for problems.

How about upgrading to SP1 with Citrix installed?

I've just put SP1 on one of my servers with a view to upgrading
the entire farm, but am having problems with shadow keys

Is there anything else I should be aware of?

I don't really fancy rebuilding citrix if I can get away with it!

Be sure the server is 2003 SP1 BEFORE you install Citrix.

It's hasn't caused a single problem for me. My 4 PS 4.0 servers
were loaded fresh onto 2003 SP1 boxes. I've run about a dozen pre
PS4 R01 updates to fix some printing issues, and others just for
    "good measure". Haven't gotten a chance to install R01 + post R01
    fixes yet.

Does Windows 2003 SP1 still cause problems in PS 4.0?

I'm getting ready to rebuild some servers and I'm wondering if I
    should install Win2k3 SP1.

    I tried searching thethin.net <http://thethin.net/>list archives,
    but that was useless.

Is there a better place to search for list archives?
