I would presume you would get allocated budget for this project, so
ScrewDrivers or ThinPrint I would certainly be looking at as part of
the solution you are looking to implement.

Given your situation if I was in a consulting role, given the
information you have given me, it would be a solution I would put
forward. I would also ensure that you know where you are going in
regards to client deployment in future and build up that environment,
such as the management of thin clients or otherwise.

Also the other thing to do testing with and check off is remote
profiles and getting all TS profiles into the same location as your
servers if possible.
