Hey Walter and All: Well, I received my board Friday, it was crushed in the
box. Been waiting for the board since 8/2, I finally get it, and it was
cracked. The customer happened to come by and had smoke coming out of his
ears when I told him. (Why is it that customers seem to have ESP, that way).
Now, since my help didn't catch it to refuse delivery from UPS, I have to
send it back (after UPS and TCE decides who's fault the crack is, what a
mess) and wait at least 2 more weeks for another. Meanwhile, I have to pay
for another. Wow, I just love this business. I have been told they are
already on backorder. I hope this is not going to be the norm for these
boards. I will let you know how I make out if I get the board before
Christmas. I talked to the Tech that replaced that board in the last one of
these we had and he said that all the set needed was minor adjustments thru
the service menu. I hope that Chipper is not going to have to be used on
this set because so far I have been able to live without it on all other
models. Mine is still in the original box from 3 years ago. I got tired of
doing updates when we first got it, and shelved it. I bet ours has no where
near the upgrades to even work on any set.

Perry, please let me know how you come out on this.
I STILL have NOT resolved all the issues with mine.
There is a bulletin out on the splitter, It's
supposed to be replaced no matter what the set is
in for.
I don't know if the fly could take out the
splitter, I doubt it, but it is a moot point
anyway.
