Friends;

I just got one of these monsters in. The flyback has a huge hole burned in
it. The set is under warranty, I was just wondering if I might need the
splitter too. I ordered the whole deflection board, thank goodness TCE lets
you replace it under warranty. Have any of you seen the splitter cause
flyback problems. I have yet to see the splitter bad on one of these,
however we have only had a couple of them in so far. Will the PTK195
splitter work, I have tons of them from field scrapped units. I forgot to
compare them at work today. Thanks.

The way this set is made it could take all day to find just one of the
eeproms.(Projection) I think we are all going to hate this TV esp. if you
have to service anything around the picture tubes because you have to take
out all three at once to get to one tube, anode wire , yoke, leaky
fluid.etc. This chassis could lose RCA alot of money, I have aready had
one leaky( fluid) tube, and all the HV splitters need to be replaced, So
far I hate this set.
