i would like to ty for ur help with this.now i have 2 questions the frist
one is on this 50001 ps2  when it came in the shop it would only play ps1
disk so i replaced the lasre with a know good laser and it would start to
play the disk then after it but the frist screens it would go into a no read
erroe.so i think it may be the tray aliment but not sure.i should tell u i
have been in the repair feild since 1971 and have just started doing these
and x-box's and game cubes.since i became disable i can no long do tv's so i
went this route.qusetion 2 i have an x-box i think it's 1.4 it has a bad
hard drive is there a way of just replacing the drive with out moding it.the
cust dose not want it moded just the hard drive i was told if i replace the
eeprom it would do the trick but not to sure it will.
