[TechAssist] Re: Mitsubishi CS-2610R Chassis-UM2-B-C10R

Well..it's a good thing it's the weekend.
As I said, this vert/horiz discussion takes on a life of it's own.
We all know, or at least we should, being in this business, what
symptom no vertical deflection gives us. Horizontal may be a little more
difficult to explain, since lack of, or no horizontal deflection will
sometimes also give us no HV.
So.......................let's put this to rest, and maybe we
can discuss whether a CRT implodes or explodes, when a bottle of beer is
pitched thru the front.
Let's get this over with, I put the comment in my inquiry for
the one reason, because we had this discussion before. And at that time,
we had more input then required. It was a play on words. Like saying
more white then black, and someone will ask "How grey was it?"
In the future..leave the word "line" out of the equation, and
use the word "deflection".
That way, we will never ever have to have this conversation
again.;-)
Now..let's work on this Implosion/Explosion thing.

I dont remember that far back, but you certainly couldnt do anything in
a
math or science class without knowing the definition of horizontal and
vertical (oblique too!).
