I actually had a old  good 4 gig hard drive in the drawer with W98SE on
it as sort of a back up HDD from my main PC that I replaced with a
larger HDD.
I just swapped it into this tower. It booted up, recognised several new
devices,wanted to reboot,and it works now. So I assume the HDD was bad.
I will order a larger drive MOnday.I guess I'll have to get an OS as
well.These manufacturers don't always include the OS CD when they sell a
system.
