The ongoing discussion concerning Puffins confirms that although near side
indicators have their benefits they create more problems than benefits, a
far sided option should be considered.

        Well, I've said it before and I'll say it again...I think serious
        consideration must now be given to an RG man on the opposite side of
the
        crossing just like the old pelicans.

        The public seem to want them and it resolves the question of umpteen
        boxes, all  at different heights.
