This is true, and those who live are stronger. But the death rate with children is high, so the strongest survive and have better immunities. I tend to think that saving those who can be saved might be worth the allergies. I may not be right about this. But, it is the same with our dogs. We do tend to save some that perhaps might have been better served without the medical attention. I choose to continue to save who I can, but I do understand the theory to let them go.
