Well, that may have been true at one time, but not anymore.
There are a LOT of choices these days in "alternate" meat
protein sources. We have high quality feeds out there today
-- fairly easily accessible in most cases -- made from
venison, pork, rabbit, fish, duck and even vegetarian!
