Excellent Post Evan, I think that speaks to many of us on so many levels.
The entire nation is cutting back, except apparently for the US govt...
Everyone is feeling the crunch, and responding appropriately....why not the
PC?
I would like to suggest that in big issues, like the WUSV trials (not to
single out just that)
that any ANY commitment of a large dollar amount (set a baseline) MUST go to
the membership
for a vote .
If this is truly the members' club, and it sure hasn't felt that way in
years, then the membership,
not just a few, not just the Board, should have a say. I am very
disenchanted with the the
club.
It still seems that major decisions are STILL being made by only a select
few, year after year, people that have
been in control (and not even on the board, necessarily) for too long.
Business as usual, and I have to tell you guys, my "Don't Give a Damn Meter"
regarding the club is about pegged now.
What a shame, and I am willing to bet I am not alone
Kathy, who is going to have another cup of coffee now.
