I think the point was the talking about it before the fact was wrong.
Now, if you think that doesn't go on when you have 2-3 specialty shows
together (some judges, not all),
I have this bridge I am looking to sell...personal experience, many a year
ago, 1st time show chair I was asked "what did so-and-so do yesterday?".

It just irks me that people have the nerve to talk badly about the
all-breed
shows, the all-breed judges, and the all-breed dogs when they're at the
shows competing with their dogs. What does that make their dogs? POS's

I judged an all-breed show. The night before I was to judge I was at a
dinner for all the judges. One of them told me that if I put up the same

shepherd that won that day, he would give him the group tomorrow. He then
turned to the Best in Show judge for the next day, and confirmed he would
put the shepherd up for BIS if we did that.
I then had breakfast the next day with another BIS judge. He asked me if
Leroy Brown was a good dog, because he had given him a BIS, but since I
was
a
shepherd person, he wanted my opinion. He knew that Jimmy must have had a
good dog, so he gave him BIS.
Now, I know that is but one example, but it sure stuck with me.
